300 Hour Live Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification
Boland School of Hypnotherapy is an official certification school for the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, established in 1980.
Led by Helen Boland, CHT, our Clinical Certification combines foundational hypnosis education, modern Clinical Hypnotherapy, experiential learning, and practical application.
Students are guided through a progressive learning pathway designed to build knowledge, confidence, and the clinical skills needed to begin working professionally after certification.

Your Clinical Certification Pathway
Each level builds upon the previous one, creating a structured path from foundational education to advanced clinical application.
Levels 1 to 4
Certified Hypnotherapist 200 Hours + A.C.H.E. Certification Exam
Students develop a strong foundation in how hypnosis and Clinical Hypnotherapy work while learning the principles, techniques, and applications used within professional practice.
Upon successful completion of Levels 1 through 4 and the required A.C.H.E. examination, students may qualify for the designation:
A.C.H.E. Certified Hypnotherapist
Level 5
Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist
100 Additional Hours + Clinical Experiential Assessment
Level 5 builds upon the foundational certification with advanced clinical education, applied techniques, supervised experience, and deeper therapeutic application.
Upon successful completion, students may qualify for the designation:
A.C.H.E. Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, CHT
What’s Included
Your certification experience includes more than classroom instruction.
100% Live Instruction
All certification hours are taught live, either online or in person, with Helen Boland, CHT and supporting clinicians. Students can participate, ask questions, observe demonstrations, and receive guidance in real time.
Comprehensive Learning Materials
Students receive an extensive 400 to 500 page supplemental digital binder containing curriculum materials, study guides, reviews, assignments, protocols, and experiential exercises.
Practical Clinical Experience
Students have opportunities to practice techniques, observe clinical applications, and build confidence through experiential learning and supervised practice.
Direct Mentorship
Helen provides ongoing guidance throughout the program, supported by graduates, professional clinicians, and the wider student community.
Professional Preparation
The program is designed to help students understand not only what Clinical Hypnotherapy is, but how to begin applying their education confidently and ethically in professional practice.
Enrollment
Students may complete the Clinical Certification as one full pathway or progress through the individual levels.
Full Program Enrollment
Students who register for all levels together may receive the available full program discount.
Level by Level Enrollment
Students may also register for individual levels as they progress through the certification pathway.
Tuition
Tuition is generally due four weeks before the applicable course begins. Payment arrangements may be discussed directly with Helen Boland, CHT when available.
Upon enrollment, students become Student Members of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners as applicable to the certification process.
